The Iranian wrestling tournament “Day of Children” was held in Tehran in schoolboy category, November 19 and 20.

In Greco-Roman final, Iran A defeated Azerbaijan 5-5 (20-19) to win title and Ukraine beat Iran B 7-3 to place third.

In freestyle, Ukraine won against Iran A 6-4 in the final match. In third place match, Azerbaijan defeated Iran B 5-5 (25-23).

The tournament was held according to new Iranian system that is proposed to UWW. In this system both team dual matches and also individual rankings are considered.

The final team standings:

Freestyle: 1- Ukraine 2- Iran A 3- Azerbaijan 4- Iran B 5- Armenia 6- Georgia 7- Iran C 8- Iraq 9- Kirgizstan

Greco-Roman: 1- Iran A 2- Azerbaijan 3- Ukraine 4- Iran B 5- Armenia 6- Tajikistan 7- Iran C 8- Kirgizstan 9- Iraq 10- Turkmenistan
