      Winning three gold medals at 2012 World University Greco-roman wrestling championships, Iran team placed third in team standings.

       

      Hadi Alizadeh Pournia, Taleb Nematpour and Bashir Babajanzadeh were gold medalist of Iran Greco-roman team in Finland tournament but four other wrestlers failed to win medal.

      Russia won team title by 50 points, Turkey was second by 46 points and Iran placed third by 44 point in team standings.

      Hassan Rangraz conducted Iran team at the games.

      W 60kg: Bagher Tavakolian (9th)

      W 66kg: Ali Mohammadi (7th)

      W 74kg: Hadi Alizadeh Pournia (gold)

      W 84kg: Taleb Nematpour (gold)

      W 96kg: Mohammadreza Akbari (7th)

      W 120kg: Bashir Babajanzadeh (gold)
