Iran won one silver and two bronze medals at 2012 at 2012 junior Greco-Roman world championships in Thailand.

Ramin Taheri at 60kg was silver medalist of Iran and MEhdi Zeidvan at 66 kg with Payam Boyeri at 74kg were bronze medal winners.

 In team rankings, Iran placed fourth by 32 points as Azerbaijan won team title, Russia was runner up and Turkey placed third.

W 50kg: Ashkan Gholikiani (8th)

W 55kg:Mehrdad Mardani(disqualified, because protesting referees)

W 60kg: Ramin Taheri(silver)

W 66kg: Mehdi Zeidvand(bronze)

W 74kg: Payam Bouyeri(bronze)

W 84kg: Majid Aliari(18^th)

W 96kg: Saman Noroozi (7^th)

W 120kg: Mahdi Poursheikh (13^th)
