Two times Asian champion Ehsan Lashgari obtained his third Asian gold medal at 84kg.

Erfan Amiri failed to reach final at 96kg and placed third.

Finally Parviz Hadi captured gold medal in his first appearance in national team at 120kg.

In team standings, Iran was the champion with 67 point, Japan placed second with 49 points and China was third with 46 points.
