By winning one gold, three silver and one bronze, Iran obtained second place team title at 2008 junior world Greco-roman wrestling championship in Turkey, Istanbul.
Saeid Abdevali captured 66kg gold medal at second day competition as Bashir Babajanzadeh was second at 120kg. Also Iran claimed two silver by Reza Asadpour at 50kg and Mohammadreza Akbari at 96 kg and one  bronze by Yadollah Arab Jafari  at 74kg at first day.
The host country was champion by 59 points and Iran was second by 50 points. Azerbaijan, Russia and Kazakhstan stands after Iran in team ranking.
