Junior freestyle tournament, Azerbaijan federation cup, held in Baku and Mazandaran team which represented Iran, obtained third place team title.

2006 junior world bronze medalist at 66kg, Saeid Tavakol has brilliant performance by winning 74kg gold medal. Also Masoud Esmaeilpour captured silver medal at 60 kg and Mosavi won 120kg bronze medal.

The host country won three gold medals as well as team title. Georgia had two gold medals to stand second and Iran, Russia and Turkey obtained one gold medal.
