      Iran captured Two silver and one bronze in first day

      Iran captured Two silver and one bronze at first day of Asian freestyle wrestling championship.

      Meisam Mostafa Jokar won 74kg silver medal and Amir Ganji stands second at 96kg. Also Morad Mohammadi won bronze medal in 60kg.

      Iranian wrestlers in 60 and 74kg didn’t qualify for Olympic from Asian Championship and should compete in Olympic qualification tournament in Martini Switzerland.

      at first day competitions, Yougeshvar Dutt(IND), Cho Byung Kwan(KOR) and  D.Shabanbay(KAZ) qualified for 2008 Olympic games.

      60kg: 1- Yougeshvar Dutt(IND) 2- Takatsuka(JPN) 3- Morad Mohammadi(IRI) &  Tlegenov(UZB) 5- Sengodorj S.(MGL) & Ryom Jong Min(PRK)

      74kg:1- Cho Byung Kwan(KOR) 2- Meisam Mostafa Jokar(IRI) 3- Dorjvanchig(MGL) & Nagashima(JPN)

      96kg:1- Kurban Kurbanov(UZB) 2- Amir Abbas Moradi Ganji(IRI) 3- Koo Tae Hyun(KOR) & D.Shabanbay(KAZ)

      60KG 3-5 match: Morad Mohammadi dec. Sengodorj S.(MGL) 3-0, 1-2, 3-0

      96kg Final: Kurban Kurbanov(UZB) dec. Amir Abbas Moradi Ganji(IRI) 1-0, 1-0

      96kg wrestle-off match for Olympic license: Shabanbay(KAZ) pinned Koo Tae Hyun(KOR)
