Three days later Iranian freestyle wrestlers compete at 2008 Asian championship in Jeju, Korea and they need five Olympic licenses at 55kg, 60kg, 66kg, 74kg and 120kg. In the below is quotes of freestyle team members before Asian championship.

55kg: Taghi Dadashi

"After unsuccessful performance in Baku, Winning gold medal at Yasar Dugo cup returned my confidence. Because of Olympic license, 2008 Asian championship will be tough competition. Some Asian best wrestlers (Mansorov and Naranbatar) qualified for Olympic at 2007 world championship and I don’t think to have problem in Jeju. Also Iran has the ability to be again Asia champion."

60kg: Morad Mohammadi

"My weight problem in Baku was an unexpected incident. I have forgotten that days and I want to repeat past honors. I am in good shape but only the first wrestler in each weight wills qualify for Olympic and we will have hard job."

66kg: Hamid Mohammadnejad

"I have only came here to get Olympic license. I didn’t have great performance at Yasar Dugo and Kiev tournaments and my problem was in take down but national coach Mohammad Talaei helped me to remove that problem."

74kg: Meisam Mostafa Jokar

" I didn’t have good performance at Yasar Dugo cup and Gulhan from Turkey used my mistakes to defeat me. After that tournament I had good preparation in training camp and coaches reduced my weak points. I have good rivals in Iran like Asghar Bazri, Sadegh Goudarzi, Iman Mohammadian and Majid Mohammadi. I have achieved to national team by defeating them and I don’t want to lose it.My goal is to be Asia champion." 

84kg: Hamed Tatari

" We have 84kg Olympic license and I it reduce my stress. I am team trial champion and I won Yasar Dugo gold medal. After that coaches selected me for Asian Championship. Although we have difficult way but I only think to gold medal."

96kg: Amir Abbas Moradi Ganji

"By selection for Asian championship, Coaches have trusted me I should response them by gold medal. I am well- prepared and I want to shine at Asian Championship."

120kg: Fardin Masoumi

"My major rival is Mutalimov from Kazakhstan. He use all tricks and do everything to win. Last year he pushes his finger inside my eyes but I defeated him and I want to repeat that victory and beat all competitors to qualify for Olympic. I have two Asia gold medals and should change it to three."
