Kurdestan freestyle team represented Iran at the Ukraine junior tournament "Medvedya" and claimed one bronze medal at 66kg by Saeid Salehi. Also three wrestlers placed fifth. Sasan Feizi at 50kg, Sasan Shahbazpour at 55kg and Milad Khaledian at 60kg lost bronze medal matches. Ukraine won team title and Russia stood second. Kurdestan team had eight junior wrestlers and four cadets in this tournament.
