Russia won Greco-roman title with 5 golds and 2 bronzes. Three times world and olympic champion Varteres Samurgachev at 74kg and two times world and olympic champion Alexij Mishin at 84kg were among gold medalists of Russia. Iran had 5 wrestlers in greco-roman and it has 7 wrestlers in freestyle.Fourth place in 2003 world championship at 74kg Hadi Habbi and 2006world bronze medal winner at 120kg Fardin Masoumi will compete in freestyle.
