Host wrestling club Bimeh Razi Jouybar won six of eight bouts in the finals of the Wrestling Club World Championship to capture the tournament's inagural title.

Capping an already successful season on the mats, the Iranian men’s beach wrestling team swept the beach wrestling competition at the Asian Beach Games, taking gold at -70kg, -80kg and +80kg weight categories.

For the first time, The World Wrestling Clubs Cup to be held and Iranian federation has considered 100000 $ prize money for the event, 50000 $ for freestyle and 50000 $ for Greco-Roman.
